Reasons to lose weight

We've all heard that we are all as a society, getting fatter. Year after year we pack on the extra pounds and its not getting any better.

Don't get me wrong, I love a cheeseburger and french fries as much as the next guy, but there are some very important things to understand about being overweight. For example being overweight is very unhealthy. Life is too short to feel uncomfortable.

Stop living with the burden of being fat. Eat right, exercise and drink lots of water. Take the first step to weight loss: deciding to do it!

Here are some reasons to help you make that life saving decision:

Your Heart:
The most important muscle in your body, also stores fat. If you are overweight, so is your heart. And if you heart gets clogged with fat you run a higher risk of heart disease and heart attack.

Your Energy Levels:
If you are overweight, you are not as active as you could be. The funny thing about the body is the more energy you use, the more active you are, the more energy you have. When you are overweight it works the opposite. You feel tired or exhausted more frequently and generally are less mobile.

Your Confidence:
Feeling healthy and attractive is an important factor for a balanced life. If you feel good about your body, you will feel more self confident. This behavior is contagious and attractive. Don't your friends and loved ones deserve to know the best possible version of you. If you are happy and self confident you can inspire others.

Your Life Span: Probably the most important reason to lose weight is a longer life. Being overweight makes a person more susceptible to a list of physical ailments and diseases including diabetes, stroke, and heart problems.

Losing weight
is a choice, the above reasons should help anyone take the first step to a happier healthier life.
